David Mizejewski is a wildlife expert, media personality, author, blogger and naturalist with the National Wildlife Federation. He is a nationally recognized effort on gardening for wildlife. He is the author of Attracting Birds, Butterflies and Other Backyard Wildlife, winner of the 2005 Publisher’s Marketing Association Benjamin Franklin Award. He is a contributor to Gardening How-To and Birds & Blooms magazines. David blogs for Animal Plant, Huffington Post, and NWF’s blog, Wildlife Promise. David hosted and co-produced Backyard Habitat on Animal Planet, makes monthly appearances on NBC’s Today Show; and is a regular guest on Conan and The Wendy Williams Show. He’s also appeared on The Martha Stewart Show, Chelsea Lately, TMZ, Access Hollywood Live, Good Morning America, The Doctors, Inside Edition, HGTV’s Gardening by the Yard and Curb Appeal, The Weather Channel, and CNN’s Headline News and Larry King Live. Originally from New Jersey, David now lives and gardens in Washington, DC.
